CSI Recruiting is working with a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company seeking a Senior Landman to focus on the company’s assets throughout the Rockies and Mid-Continent.

The role will have significant autonomy while also working within a team of experienced E&P professionals and will report to the EVP of Land and Business Development.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Manage, acquire and negotiate Land and Lease Assets
Management of Contracts, JOAs and Agreements
Perform Title review
Function as the primary liaison between Company and landowners
Manage GIS Mapping projects
Perform permitting and regulatory compliance
Engage and manage 3rd party consultants as needed to perform field work
In tandem with the engineering, geoscience and business development teams, perform asset evaluation and acquisition due diligence
Work closely and directly with management and operations to provide support for field assets.
Experience with BLM and State Agencies required

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have 6 to 12+ years as an in-house Landman within an active exploration and production company with an emphasis on assets within the Rockies and Mid-Continent
BS in Energy Management, Business, Law or related field
CPL preferred. Travel required
Ability to work on projects with limited supervision. Seeking a self-starter and high ethics professional with a robust upstream oil & gas network
