Skills and Abilities

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Positive interpersonal skills, ability to function in a fast paced environment, proactive problem solving skills. Organizational skills to direct and manage people and strong computer skills.

What You Will Do

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage daily operations by facilitating department call assignment schedules to ensure proper coverage as well as maintaining vacation requests.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee workflow for the best needs of the department.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with employee evaluations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates daily workflow to ensure that instrument sets and equipment are available when needed.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates staff schedule to assure adequate staffing.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs other checks as necessary to assure that recommended standards are being followed in the processing/sterilization of instruments.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure the rotation of instrument trays for sharpening, as well as equipment repairs for CSP, Surgery Endoscopy.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist manager in monitoring department productivity.
Update and sustain departmental payroll.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Processing of all invoices for sharpening, repairs and specific implants.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ordering of any instrumentation needed.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Audits the trays of Technicians to ensure that they are done correctly and contain clean properly working instruments and ensures that equipment is delivered properly in a timely manner.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Audits the sterilization process and the monitoring of this process.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs tasks in a cost effective manner.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitors the productivity of Technicians.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 CQI and PI Data Collection for sterilization in CSP and Surgery.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain organization of instrument sets to meet changing needs of specialty services.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work closely with service line coordinators and surgeons for any changes or issues that may arise pertaining to Central Sterile Processing.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Evaluates performance of employees.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coaches or counsels employees as required and also provides recognition to deserving employees
