Description
Due to Eagle Contracting's continued growth and expansion, we are adding an experienced Superintendent to our DFW team. We consistently manage 8-10 active projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including pump stations, lift stations, major rehabilitation projects, and new wastewater treatment plant construction. Project values range from $20 million to $300 million. In this role, you will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in municipal water and wastewater construction and a proven ability to lead large-scale infrastructure projects.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintain safety standards through effective planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation
- Manage project planning activities, including development and execution of pre-job plans
- Determine construction methods and sequencing to support successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain project Site Utilization Plans
- Review equipment requirements and coordinate needs with the Project Manager
- Review monthly subcontractor pay applications to ensure progress aligns with completed work
- Coordinate, expedite, and manage subcontractors and vendors to maintain project schedules
- Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively while minimizing schedule impacts
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost tracking records
- Review weekly labor reports and monthly job cost reports to identify concerns and implement corrective actions
- Manage and enforce the project Quality Control Program
- Ensure compliance with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, SOS documentation, weekly unit reports, two-week look-ahead schedules, and monthly schedule updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Mitigate subcontractor change orders and back-charges that may impact project profitability and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Lead project closeout activities in accordance with contract documents and company standards
- Coordinate effectively with Project Managers, owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Lead field teams while promoting a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on municipal water and/or wastewater projects valued at $25 million or greater
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant construction, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utility infrastructure
- Experience managing large-scale civil and municipal construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, quality control, and productivity management
- Proven ability to supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Experience reviewing project costs, labor productivity, and schedule performance
