The Warehouse Lead role requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to set an example for a culture of safety excellence and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

 

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 2:00pm, or until the daily work is completed.

 

You will:

  • Train new selectors on the selection process
  • Train warehouse employees and others regarding safety-related issues
  • Audit pallets and work
  • Assist with loading, inspecting, and ensuring proper load quality.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to cover the desk when necessary
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and work-related injuries
  • Prepare and submit accident-related compliance forms and maintain files
  • Develop various safety reports and cost-saving recommendations
  • Develop employees engaged in safety, training, and/or compliance processes.

You have:     

  • 3 years of Warehouse Distribution experience   
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Double Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred 
  • Sit-Down and Stand-Up Forklift experience preferred
  • RF Scanner experience  preferred
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
