Facility Maintenance Technician

 
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Solutions Integration Center)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (2nd Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $33.17/hour (approx. $68,990 annually)

Overview
The Facility Maintenance Technician (Tech I) is responsible for supporting the upkeep and repair of building systems within a warehouse-based Solutions Integration Center. This role focuses on maintaining the physical facility and infrastructure rather than production equipment, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs across the facility
  • Maintain and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems
  • Support upkeep of warehouse infrastructure, including doors, dock areas, and structural components
  • Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Respond to service requests and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers as needed
  • Utilize maintenance tracking or ticketing systems to document work performed

 

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 3+ years of building or facility maintenance experience (flexible based on overall fit)
  • Hands-on experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment
  • Strong generalist skill set across:
    • Basic electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Lighting systems
    • General building repairs
  • Experience maintaining facility infrastructure (not production or manufacturing equipment)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with dock doors, dock levelers, or high-volume warehouse environments
  • Background working on a dedicated warehouse maintenance team
  • Experience with vendor coordination or service management
  • Familiarity with maintenance ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Additional hands-on troubleshooting experience beyond foundational skills
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (not required)
