Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Solutions Integration Center)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (2nd Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $33.17/hour (approx. $68,990 annually)

Overview
The Facility Maintenance Technician (Tech I) is responsible for supporting the upkeep and repair of building systems within a warehouse-based Solutions Integration Center. This role focuses on maintaining the physical facility and infrastructure rather than production equipment, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance and repairs across the facility
Maintain and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems
Support upkeep of warehouse infrastructure, including doors, dock areas, and structural components
Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
Respond to service requests and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers as needed
Utilize maintenance tracking or ticketing systems to document work performed

Required Qualifications

Approximately 3+ years of building or facility maintenance experience (flexible based on overall fit)
Hands-on experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment
Strong generalist skill set across:

Basic electrical
Plumbing
Lighting systems
General building repairs

Experience maintaining facility infrastructure (not production or manufacturing equipment)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with dock doors, dock levelers, or high-volume warehouse environments
Background working on a dedicated warehouse maintenance team
Experience with vendor coordination or service management
Familiarity with maintenance ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Additional hands-on troubleshooting experience beyond foundational skills
Relevant certifications or licenses (not required)
