Our 401(k) plan is offered to full time and all qualifying part time employees.  All employees enjoy Chef-inspired meals in our Staff Dining Room.   JOB SUMMARY Responsible for ensuring Member satisfaction and mixing/serving alcoholic drinks as requested by Members & Guests.   QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years old Must have and maintain a food handler’s permit and certification through the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission. Must remain knowledgeable of all applicable laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages. Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.  Must present a neat and clean personal appearance. Must have timely, reliable attendance. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors. High school education or equivalent is required.    RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS Determines to whom alcoholic beverages will be served Reports inventory levels to the Beverage Manager Reports all Member/Guest complaints to Management to ensure Member satisfaction Protect the organization, members and guests by utilizing proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verify legal drinking age and/or discontinue service to intoxicated customers) Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management Key Activities: Ensures adequate bar inventory to include: Performing daily inspection of inventory and supplies Requesting additional supplies as necessary Maintaining records of liquors, beers, wine and sundries to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times. Ensures Member satisfaction to include: Greeting guests and creates a positive atmosphere Reporting complaints to Management as soon as they occur Follows all set-up and closing procedures to include: Maintaining clean, sanitary equipment Cleaning and securing all liquor storage and Club doors Mixes, prepares, garnishes, and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager Ring up drinks in the POS system. Do a nightly requisition for the opening bartender Use the Accubar devices for Requisitions and Monthly Inventories Present specials and suggesting menu items Take orders and put in POS computer system in a timely manner Turn orders in to kitchen and inform about special cooking instructions Work banquet events for party bars (set up, work, break down and inventory)   PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTS  Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things. Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs Work in a fast paced and noisy environment   All employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
