How you’ll contribute 

A Pharmacist who excels in this role:

  • Supervises pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy students to ensure accurate medication preparation, dispensing, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing medication‑related guidance, answering clinical pharmacy questions, and supporting safe medication use across patient care areas.
  • Conducts and support controlled substance audits, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and assisting with discrepancy resolution.
  • Verifies medication orders for appropriateness, safety, and accuracy in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Provides clinical recommendations regarding psychotropic medications, drug interactions, dosing adjustments, and therapeutic alternatives.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards related to medication management.
  • Assists with medication reconciliation, formulary management, and day‑to‑day pharmacy workflow as needed.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and communicate effectively with providers, nursing, and other clinical staff.

 

What we’re looking for  
Applicants should have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh) degree (required). Additional requirements include:

  •  Active pharmacist license in good standing
  • Hospital or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, clinical judgement, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient care needs.
