Starting Pay $14.72-$18.40 (DOE) QualificationsSYNOPSIS OF DUTIES 1. The Cashier is responsible for a float (bank) that must always be kept in balance. 2. Responsible for making buys to replenish the bank so the proper level is maintained. 3. The Cashier is a front-line guest service employee, must be polite, friendly, and helpful always with the guest. 4. Responsible for the security of the cage and will prevent access by an unauthorized person. 5. Will be responsible for all aspects of cashiering throughout the duration of the shift. 6. The Cashier is personally accountable for any shortage or overage in his or her bank at the end of the shift. 7. RBS certified and practiced this knowledge daily. 8. Responsible for logging and maintaining Title 31 compliance accurately. 9. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. 10. Other duties as assigned. PREREQUISITES General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming License. Math test required. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace. Experience: Minimum of one year’s experience in a high volume, fast paced cashiering environment. Bank teller experience preferred. Physical: Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing and/or walking for periods of up to four hours with no break; must be able to lift to 30 pounds, and must not be color blind.
