Overview

The CNC Machinist supports the Maintenance department by programming, setting up, and operating manual and CNC equipment to machine, repair, and fabricate parts that keep production equipment operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate mills, lathes, and EDM equipment to produce and repair parts
  • Machine and fabricate tools, dies, and assemblies from blueprints and specifications
  • Verify accuracy and maintain tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments
  • Support equipment repair and maintenance through high-quality machining work

Key Requirements

  • Strong CNC machining experience, including mills, lathes, and EDM
  • Ability to independently program, set up, and operate equipment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proven ability to hold tight tolerances with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Die-making experience preferred
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
