Quality TechnicianLocation: Clawiter (Kato as needed)Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm (flexibility for OT)In this role, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team and work cross-functionally with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality within Sigma Software Vertex. You will use your technical background to perform root cause analysis on vehicles, record their findings, and communicate critical information to the cross-functional team.In this role, you will:Read technical drawings and CAD to understand part design and intended assemblyCommunicate with cross-functional teams to facilitate root cause analysisDevelop and document troubleshooting techniquesWork with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and communicate trendsCreate and update quality documentsDevelop training plans for inspection, quality standards, and quality alerts.QualificationsAssociates Degree with 4-6 years of experience as a quality technicianor HS Diploma/GED with 6-8 years of exerience as a quality technicianAbility to read technical drawings and understand CAD modelsBroad technical background in mechanical and electrical systemsExperience performing root cause analysisAbility to read PFMEA and Control PlansBonus QualificationsA.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering3+ years of technician experience in automotive manufacturingExperience building test equipment
