Join the VCA West Coast Specialty & Emergency Animal Hospital team! We are looking for a Full-Time Medical Oncology Registered Veterinary Technician.
Location: 18300 Euclid St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Compensation: $26.50 - $32.00 ALL dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities. Â
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday

You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:Â
- Â Physical examinations, patient assessment, and collecting patient historiesÂ
- Processing laboratory samples in-house
- Preparing laboratory samples for outside labs
- Managing medical records, reports and correspondence
- Assist with Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology, Ultrasound, CT Scans)Â
- Assist with patient recoveryÂ
- PharmacyÂ
- Venipuncture/catheter placement
- Knowledge and experience with chemotherapy drugs and safety protocols
- Safe animal restraint and handling
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Effective verbal, listening, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
