Antech is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for the role of Director, Professional Services Veterinarians (PSVs). This is a key leadership position responsible for guiding a team of field-based PSVs who are critical to supporting our sales function and empowering our veterinary customers. This is a "working manager" role for a leader who enjoys both guiding a team and rolling up their sleeves. You will lead from the front by not only developing your team but also by managing a dedicated group of key client accounts, providing expert consultation on Antech's comprehensive suite of diagnostic solutions.

Job Location, Travel & Compensation
 

Pursuant to our location policy, this position is categorized as Field Based. We prefer the Director to be located near a large airport for ease of travel because this position requires travel across North America, up to 70% of the time, including regular, visible presence at our Loveland, Colorado hub office. The national hiring base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000. This position also offers a generous incentive plan. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

What You'll Do: A Leader and an Individual Contributor

Team Leadership & Development (70%)

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Professional Services Veterinarians to achieve individual and team goals.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular field ride-alongs and coaching sessions to develop your team's consultative and educational skills.

  • Manage team performance, providing regular feedback and creating development plans to support career growth.

  • Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive diagnostic revenue and customer loyalty.

  • Oversee the allocation of resources and ensure the PSV team is providing exceptional support to our sales teams and customers.

Client Consultation & Support (30%)

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with a specific group of key veterinary hospital and corporate accounts.

  • Provide expert medical and technical consultation to veterinarians and their staff on the effective use of our diagnostic tests and services.

  • Deliver compelling educational presentations and training sessions to veterinary teams, both virtually and in-person.

  • Serve as a trusted clinical advisor, helping our partners interpret results and integrate new diagnostic technologies into their practices.

What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Experience

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the veterinary industry, with a strong preference for experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or a related commercial field.

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.

  • Experience in clinical practice is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific information into practical, actionable insights for veterinary professionals.

  • A collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with sales teams and other cross-functional partners.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to connect with your team and customers.

Working Conditions

  • The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

  • The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment, a remote home office, and in veterinary clinics.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.   Environment where pets are present.
