Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Field Supervisor to join our team in Orange County. What You'll Do

As a Field Supervisor, you will provide leadership and oversight to staff while helping ensure individuals receive consistent, safe, and person-centered services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support direct-care staff and program teams.
  • Provide leadership, staff development, training, and performance improvement.
  • Oversee key services in accordance with Redwood Family Care Network policies and procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals supported and their families, caregivers, and circles of support.
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation processes for individuals receiving services.
  • Review referral packets and assist with assessing prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with local Regional Center counselors and other service providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and ensure required records are completed.
  • Support families and individuals in understanding and accessing Redwood Family Care Network services.
  • Assist with community outreach and program marketing activities.
  • Monitor service delivery and help ensure quality and compliance.
  • Apply knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22, applicable federal and state regulations, Regional Center requirements, Individual Program Plans (IPPs), and behavior modification programs.
  • Provide support and guidance during challenging situations while maintaining the dignity, rights, health, and safety of the individuals we serve.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support when needed.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a responsible and compassionate supervisor who can confidently lead staff while keeping the needs and goals of the individuals we support at the center of their work.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience preferred supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • 2 years of experience preferred in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities services, including SLS, ILS, CIT, and PAS.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably supervising approximately 5–30 employees.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification required.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Must successfully complete all required pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, employees, Regional Centers, and other community partners.

Schedule & Availability

  • Full-Time
  • 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Occasional weekend availability required
  • On-call responsibilities
  • On-site position; not remote

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to support the individuals served and oversee field operations.
