Join the VCA West Coast Specialty & Emergency Animal Hospital team! We are looking for a Full-Time Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician.
Location: 18300 Euclid St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Schedule:Â Full-Time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour shifts, with one weekend off. We are looking to add team members to our swing and overnight shifts.
Compensation: $26.50 - $32.00 ALL dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.Â
Swing Differential: $2.00/hour
Overnight Differential: $3.00/hour

- Venipuncture
- catheter placement
- radiology
- anesthesia monitoring
- physical examinations and patient assessment
- surgical preparation and assisting
- laboratory work
- pharmacy
- patient recovery
- compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
- Teamwork advocate
- Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures
- Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals
- Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals
- Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed with patient care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Helping clients and doctors during humane euthanasia
- Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately
- Maintain inventory and supplies for procedures and patient husbandry.
