Early Intervention Speech Therapist

Full Time Monday through Friday, standard business hours

At KenCrest, the Early Intervention Speech Therapist is a member of the Early Intervention team at Child Development Watch in the State of Delaware. The Speech Therapist ensures the implementation of evidence-based practices in providing direct Early Intervention Services with children and families. This role is also a part of the evaluation team implementing evaluations with children ages birth to 3 years old identifying Early Intervention eligibility.

Some of What You Would Do:

  • Implement evidence-based practices for Early Intervention Services.
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing the child’s developmental levels/ progress and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with parents/caregivers to identify activities to support language development.
  • Use the State of DE database to enter evaluation information
  • Pull reports from the database to manage work, and review reports


What You Need:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Licensed in the State of Delaware
  • One or more years’ experience/coursework in parent-infant interaction in context of communication, and oral-motor development/feeding.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with disabilities, and their parents/caregivers
  • Residency in New Castle County, DE, required
