Job DetailsJob Location: Framingham, MA 01701Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $75,250.00 - $122,344.00 SalaryJob Shift: DayPosition Description Title: Application Systems Analyst Department: Information Technology Reports to: VP, Director of Information Technology Supervises: None Classification: Exempt Date Prepared: March 02, 2026 Summary/Objective The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the support, configuration, analysis, and optimization of banking applications with a primary focus on loan and credit-related systems. This role partners closely with Lending, Credit, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure lending systems effectively support business processes, regulatory requirements, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical aptitude, hands-on lending domain knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions within a regulated financial services environment. Experience & Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or successful completion of relevant courses, or equivalent experience 3+ years of application systems analyst experience in a banking or financial services environment Direct experience supporting bank lending systems Strong understanding of lending operations, loan lifecycle, credit policies, and regulatory requirements Experience gathering requirements and working with cross-functional business users Ability to analyze data, workflows, and system integrations Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Essential Job Functions: Serve as the primary application analyst for loan origination, servicing, underwriting, and credit platform Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations Configure and maintain lending application workflows, rules engines, credit policies, products, and pricing structures Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT And Project teams to deliver enhancements and resolve issues Provide production support, issue resolution for lending applications including upgrades, patches, integrations, and product implementations Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data security standards Participate in testing activities, including UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution Support system integrations with core banking, document management, credit bureaus, and reporting platforms Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user guides Assist with vendor management, including issue escalation, roadmap discussions, and release reviews QualificationsRequired knowledge, skills & abilities: Experience with specific lending platforms (Jack Henry-LoanVantage, Encompass, MeridianLink, or similar) Knowledge of core banking integrations and financial data flows (preferably COCC Insight) Familiarity with banking regulations (e.g., FFIEC, Fair Lending, UDAAP, SOX) SQL or reporting tool experience for data analysis and reconciliation Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Exposure to workflow automation or low-code/no-code configuration tools Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to travel to other worksites Must be able to work schedules that meet the needs of the Bank, which may include early morning, evening and /or weekend hours Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
