We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Framingham, MA (on-site).

This job is in the United States and only candidates eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the replacement of legacy Building Management Systems (BMS) across manufacturing facilities.
  • Assist throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, vendor procurement, engineering review, field execution, and final commissioning.
  • Prepare and manage BMS Replacement Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to support vendor selection processes.
  • Develop and maintain BMS replacement execution plans.
  • Conduct and support in-field audits to evaluate existing infrastructure and project readiness.
    • Review BMS integrator technical submittals to ensure compliance with engineering and company standards, including: Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation & Control (I&C) packages, Input/Output (I/O) lists
  • Support hardware cutover activities and system implementation.
  • Witness and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Troubleshoot Ignition SCADA and PLC systems as required.
  • Manage SAT punch lists through resolution and project closeout.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) in pharma manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of BMS replacement projects, commissioning, and system integration.
  • Experience preparing or supporting RFP/RFQ documentation and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation & Control (I&C) documentation, and I/O lists.
  • Working knowledge of Ignition SCADA and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting FAT/SAT activities and hardware cutovers.
  • Strong project coordination and technical review skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, vendors, and field personnel.
