We are seeking a self-driven and experienced laboratory professional to manage all aspects of daily lab operations—from case accessioning to final report generation. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of high-complexity clinical laboratory testing experience and background in lab management is a plus. This role requires the ability to work independently without micromanagement. On-site training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DNA extraction using King Fisher
- Conduct and analyze real-time PCR using QuantStudio 3 and pre-filled well plates
- Prepare accurate technical reports in line with standard operating procedures
- Document all quality control and quality assurance activities (daily, monthly, annual)
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot procedural deviations and out-of-specification results
- Maintain lab inventory and ensure adequate stock of reagents and supplies
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the laboratory to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Calibrate and maintain instruments and equipment as needed
- Adhere to policies and procedures established by the Technical Supervisor
- Assist in the improvement of lab processes and workflows
- Successfully complete Proficiency Testing (PT) three times per year
- Support preparation for CLIA inspections and implement corrective actions
- Participate in general lab duties and assist with other tasks as required
- Run Quantitative Urinalysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in high-complexity clinical laboratory testing (required)
- Hands-on experience with real-time PCR (required)
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to manage projects independently with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated scientific/technical writing ability
- Professional appearance and conduct

Hourly Rate: Please note that the hourly range for this position will vary based on experience level, education, and geographical location.
