What you will be doing:Â
As Program Manager, Social Media, you will play a key role in shaping how Staples shows up across highly visible social platforms. You will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of social media programs that bring brand storytelling, campaign activation, and always-on content to life. You will partner closely with Brand, Creative, Marketing, and PR teams to deliver engaging, timely, and platform-optimized content that strengthens brand equity and drives meaningful engagement.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â
- Manage and maintain the social content calendar aligned to campaigns, promotions, and brand storytellingÂ
- Coordinate with Brand, Creative, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure assets and messaging are ready for social publishingÂ
- Adapt campaign messaging into platform-specific social contentÂ
- Oversee publishing across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and othersÂ
- Support creation and scheduling of social content, including short-form and trend-based formatsÂ
- Monitor social channels, conversations, and trends to identify engagement opportunitiesÂ
- Engage with online communities and respond to comments to enhance brand presenceÂ
- Track social media performance metrics and contribute to reporting and insightsÂ
- Maintain social calendars, trackers, and reporting toolsÂ
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of contentÂ

- Strong interest and understanding of social media platforms and digital cultureÂ
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teamsÂ
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong written communication skills for short-form and engaging digital contentÂ

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent work experience. Â
- 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content coordination, or communicationsÂ
- Managed social calendars and workflowsÂ
- Wrote, edited, and published social contentÂ
- Experience with TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedInÂ
- Managed community engagement and reported metrics Â
Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Experience creating social-first content, including short-form videoÂ
- Experience with social management tools such as Hootsuite or SproutÂ
- Experience partnering with influencers, creators, or agenciesÂ
- Retail, B2B, or brand marketing experienceÂ
