Our success is attributed to our skilled team of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and share Derstine's philosophy of quality and responsiveness.   Responsibilities: Supervise the activities of up to 15-20 workers engaged in receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods for food kit projects and other hunger relief efforts/projects. Supervise inventory control activities and manage inventory control specialist. Develop and provide team training on operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, picking and shipping of products. Respond to questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Work closely with other operation managers to streamline best practices and exceptional quality work. Interview, select, and train warehouse personnel. QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience: Must be able to work under tight deadlines calmly and effectively under stressful situations Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Identifying the training needs of others by developing formal training programs or instructing others. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and temperatures. Proficiency in MS Outlook,365, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Working knowledge of SAP software. Client service experience and mindset. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Forklift and pallet jack experience necessary. Advanced degree in operations or related field. Management experience a must. Experience working in a fast paced industry.
