SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm OR 3pm-11pm

**Every 5th weekend as well as holiday rotation

WORK LOCATION

Frankfort Hospital

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides cleaning and sanitizing services to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment. 
  • Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, offices, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces. Supports patient safety through consistent and high-quality service. 
  • Demonstrates ability to support the cleaning and disinfection of high-acuity clinical and procedural areas. 
  • Applies disinfection protocols and utilizes approved cleaning tools in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policy. 
  • Conducts hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations and infection prevention protocols. 
  • Proactively communicates and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure cleaning processes support patient safety and care flow.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • No previous experience required. 
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. 
  • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time. 
  • Requires the ability to operate light floor equipment for cleaning floors in patient care areas. 
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders. 
  • Requires the ability to clean areas that require technical cleaning including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED.
