Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machinery including set-up and program editing with ability to produce advanced routine/non-routine parts and components.
• Perform machining operations on a variety of EDM Machines including shop floor programming and using such procedures as multiple setups, in place machining of fixtures. 
• Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Select, align and secure holding fixtures and cutting tools using hand tools and tool length off-set equipment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Machinist Level.
• Ability to understand Blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent in using all types of measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and Optical comparators.
• Read and understand G and M codes.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
