Scope of Position:Ā 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Generalist is a customer-centered role supporting all levels of associatesĀ on 3 shiftsĀ at our Franklin, NH facility. TheĀ Senior HR GeneralistĀ isĀ responsible forĀ all HR activitiesĀ including:Ā managing employee data inĀ ourĀ WorkdayĀ HRIS, associate communications, employment, orientation,Ā employeeĀ relations, compliance efforts, investigations, safety compliance, and talent review and appraisal processes.Ā The Senior HR GeneralistĀ will be an active member of the overall HR team and will provide support for allĀ on-goingĀ HR projects and initiatives.Ā The Senior HR Generalist will foster a workplace culture that exceeds employee expectations and embraces a continuous improvement mindset.Ā

This position isĀ onsiteĀ Monday through FridayĀ in Franklin,Ā NHĀ and reports to the HR Manager.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

Ā 

  • Ensure compliance withĀ manufacturing-relatedĀ employment laws and regulations.Ā 

  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, taking into account the specific requirements of the manufacturing sector.Ā 

  • Provides support in compliance areas of human resources including but not limited to employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AA/EEO, leave management and ADA.Ā Ā 

  • Collaborate with manufacturing managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to the industry for direct labor (full-time and contingent).Ā 

  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, andĀ participateĀ in the selection process, with a focus on skills relevant to manufacturing roles.Ā 

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuringĀ a seamlessĀ integration into the manufacturing environment.Ā 

  • MaintainsĀ a high levelĀ of visibility, accessibility, and interaction with manufacturing team members.Ā 

  • Coach and counsel employees, front line leaders and managers on employee relation matters, performanceĀ managementĀ and conflict resolution.Ā 

  • Utilize an empathetic approach to understanding employee concerns, answerĀ questionsĀ and help employees through organizational change.Ā 

  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, providing recommendations for resolution. Partner with the legal team asĀ appropriate forĀ all ethics related issues.Ā 

  • Support the performance management process, providing guidance to supervisors and employees on performance expectations and development opportunities.Ā 

  • Support the implementation of performance improvement plans tailored to the manufacturing environment.Ā 

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and efficiency.Ā 

  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive operational excellence in HR processes and employee relations.Ā 

  • Partner with the manufacturing team toĀ identifyĀ keyĀ peopleĀ metrics to continuallyĀ monitorĀ and improve the employee experience.Ā 

  • MaintainĀ accurateĀ and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data, with a focus on manufacturing roles and qualifications.Ā 

  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support problem solving and discussion on the overall health of the organization.Ā

Required QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administrationĀ or similar isĀ required.Ā 

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience working in a manufacturing environmentĀ required.Ā Ā 

  • Experience using HRIS systems for data management and data metrics to guide decisions. Workday experience is a plus.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to problem-solve and analyze situations toĀ identifyĀ potential issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks.Ā 

  • Drive employee relations, performanceĀ managementĀ and engagement activities.Ā 

  • Demonstrated ability to train management skills and manager accountability.Ā 

  • ExpertĀ organizational and time management skills.Ā 

  • An empathetic approach to understanding employee concerns.Ā 

  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation communication skills.Ā 

  • Expert relationship management andĀ demonstratedĀ ability toĀ establishĀ trust and credibility with designated employee group(s).Ā

Working Conditions:Ā Ā 

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment.Ā YouĀ will alsoĀ be requiredĀ to be present on the manufacturing floor and will beĀ requiredĀ to wear theĀ appropriate personalĀ protective equipment. You willĀ be requiredĀ to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday – Friday)Ā and may be asked to support late night or early morning shifts. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.Ā
