Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Content Operations is a key part of the transformational journey to data driven brand building with the aim of transforming the way we connect with the pet parents and building relationships with them at the heart of everything we do.

Our ambition is to ignite quality organic growth by:

  • Accelerating speed and agility by building an organization through digital transformation, process simplification and strengthening signature programs

  • Shaping the portfolio for growth by leveraging productivity to fuel flywheel excellence

  • Turbocharging tailwinds and strengthening our core

  • Creating Leading Edge capabilities, ways of working and resources to engage with pet parents at a personalized level at meaningful scale

Leads the strategic vision and governance of end-to-end content production across a major brand portfolio or key production stream. Establishes and optimizes the operating model across brand teams, agency partners, and production vendors to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-quality content. Oversees production performance, ensuring operational standards are maintained, workflows scale effectively, and assets are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with brand objectives.

Reports to the Director, Content Operations & Production. Leads a team of Content Operations Managers, Content Analysts, and a Data & Systems Coordinator. Partners closely with the embedded MarTech & Workflow Manager, Content Operations Analyst, and the Content & Production Product Owner.

 What are we looking for?

  • 8–12 years in content production, creative operations, or integrated production management; brand-side or production-company experience required

  • CPG experience preferred — multi-brand portfolio environments most relevant

  • Demonstrated track record running multi-channel production at significant scale, with meaningful budget stewardship

  • Experience managing complex production partner relationships and holding them accountable to outcomes

  • Working knowledge of the production technology landscape: DAM, work management, and creative review platforms

  • Proven people leadership with a demonstrated commitment to developing talent and building team engagement

  • Experience working in matrixed environments with brand, planning, agency, and production partners

What will be your key responsibilities?

Brand & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Senior production-side partner to assigned brand teams; trusted strategic partner in their planning cycles, not just their production cycles

Production Partner & Vendor Management

  • Owns senior relationships with production houses, post-production partners, photographers, directors, and freelance networks within assigned scope

  • Manages a team of five direct reports, including two Content Operations Managers, two Content Analysts, and one Data and Systems Coordinator

  • Leads the growth and development of team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and creating clear career progression pathways

  • Models strong leadership principles for direct reports and the broader team, ensuring a highly engaged and collaborative team environment

  • Establishes performance expectations, provides regular feedback, and is accountable for the overall success and well-being of the team

Investment Stewardship

  • Manages production budgets at the brand or portfolio-cluster level; tracks pacing, flags risks, drives cost discipline through better briefs, smarter sourcing, and modular reuse

  • Works with internal and external partners to identify return on production investment within assigned scope

  • Runs the production operating model the Director has set — and surfaces what's working, what's not, and where the model needs to evolve

  • Partners with the embedded MarTech & Workflow Manager and Product Owner on the workflow and tooling improvements the team needs
