With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.  Job Summary The Credit Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial transactions throughout the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle. This role manages customer credit and collection activities by evaluating creditworthiness, establishing and maintaining credit limits, monitoring account performance, and resolving payment-related issues. The Credit Analyst works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to review credit holds, collect outstanding receivables, investigate account discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company credit policies and standard terms and conditions. Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned customer accounts, which includes monitoring for delinquency and ensuring compliance with Vybond's Standard Terms and Conditions for Customer Purchases. Review order credit holds for decisioning based on payment history and account status that caused the credit hold. Communicate with customers, internal teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables and resolution of account discrepancies. Utilize aging reports and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) tools to support collection activities, monitor account status and determine next steps to bring accounts current. Execute established collection strategies and initiatives to improve cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, optimize Accounts Receivable turnover (AR Turns), lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimize bad debt exposure   Assess credit risk, using Dun & Bradstreet reports, bank and trade references, financial statements and other supporting documents.  Make independent credit decisions within assigned authority levels and establish credit limits and payment terms based on financial analysis and risk exposure. Provide recommendations and guidance to management and sales teams regarding customer creditworthiness, risk mitigation, and ongoing financial exposure Manage customer-specific requirements, including the use of customer portals and compliance with individual billing and payment processes. Monitor and apply customer payments accurately, coordinating with the Operations Accountant and Operations Accounting Manager as needed. Investigate disputed invoices, deductions, and payment issues, gathering supporting documentation to facilitate resolution. Initiate account adjustments with the Accounting Department for items such as discounts, freight charges, debit/credit offsets, and cash application corrections to maintain accurate customer balances. Support special projects, process improvements, and other ad hoc assignments as needed.
