Job Summary

The Data Analyst will work closely with business departments to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and deliver insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. This role focuses on transforming data into clear, actionable information and collaborating with stakeholders to identify issues, opportunities, and improvement initiatives. The analyst will also design, maintain and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards that enable consistent KPI tracking and performance monitoring across the organization, working in partnership with the Master Data and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that track key business KPIs and performance metrics across the organization.
  • Analyze dashboard results to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities, and proactively surface insights to business stakeholders.
  • Partner with business teams (e.g., operations, finance, supply chain, sales, marketing) to understand performance drivers, clarify requirements, and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
  • Support analytics-driven improvement initiatives by helping define problem statements, establishing success metrics, and tracking progress against agreed action plans.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to document, assign, and follow up on action items resulting from KPI reviews and performance discussions.
  • Work with Master Data and IT teams to request, validate, and refine underlying datasets needed for reporting and analysis.
  • Perform data validation and reasonableness checks to ensure dashboards and analyses are accurate, consistent, and trusted by users.
  • Prepare clear presentations, summaries, and written insights that communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support ongoing dashboard enhancements by gathering feedback, prioritizing improvements, and ensuring reports remain relevant to evolving business needs.
  • Promote data literacy and a data-driven culture by helping users interpret dashboards and understand how KPIs connect to business outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting-focused role, preferably within a centralized Data Analytics or BI team.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including building and maintaining dashboards, defining KPIs and metrics, and ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable way.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret dashboard results, identify performance gaps or opportunities, and translate insights into improvement initiatives or projects.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, finance, supply chain, IT) to understand business challenges, align on priorities, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to support and coordinate analytics-driven projects, including defining objectives, tracking action items, monitoring progress, and communicating status to stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of data quality and consistency, with the ability to identify data issues and work with technical teams to resolve or mitigate them.
  • Comfortable working with data from enterprise systems (e.g., ERP platforms such as SAP) and understanding how operational processes impact KPIs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain insights, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple dashboards, analyses, and improvement initiatives in parallel.
  • Collaborative team player with a solution-oriented mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to proactively drive outcomes.

 

Education Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
