Laborer will adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment. Will report any safety concerns to supervisor immediately. Key Responsibilities: - Leveling ground and preparing surfaces. - Digging trenches and holes for utilities and foundations using hand tools. - Backfilling trenches and compacting soil as directed. - Performing basic maintenance. QualificationsRequired Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Required Experience: - Proven experience as a hand laborer in the construction or related field. - Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, and levels. - Experience with trench digging, backfilling, and soil compaction. - Experience in site preparation and cleaning, including debris removal. Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs regularly) and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. - Ability to work in various weather conditions. - Familiarity with basic construction principles and practices. - Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, and levels. - Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently. - Strong commitment to safety regulations and procedures. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Ability to complete tasks to quality standards and within deadlines. - Effective communication skills to report safety concerns and work progress. - Must have your own reliable transportation. - Must have your own smart phone.
