Job Summary: This position is a weekend position, Friday Saturday and Sunday, work 36 get paid for 40!This position is primarily responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

The requirements for the job are listed below:

  • Working knowledge of industrial equipment – gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic valves and components, and other manufacturing and facilities equipment.
  • Welding (GMAW and/or Stick), Oxy/Acetylene Torch Operation, light metal fabrication.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting experience utilizing blueprint drawings, ladder logic, equipment manuals and other available technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of electrical motors & motor control circuits
  • Experience working with various electrical devices including sensors, pressure and linear transducers, pushbutton and control circuits.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial burner control systems.
  • Working knowledge of facilities equipment – lighting circuits, HVAC and plumbing.
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers. (PLC’s)
  • Experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
  • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance experience.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):Necessary KSA's Must possess basic computer skills. Must have a good mechanical aptitude. Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel between buildings. Must be self-motivated. Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time. Must possess strong communication skills. Must be detail oriented. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to effectively work with people. 
Preferred KSA's: Blue print reading skills. Basic math skills. Read equipment manuals to preform required maintenance. Strong understanding of machine tool geometry and usage with various materials\. Machine trouble shooting skills. Basic knowledge for electrical. Not afraid of heights and can work from ladders.  Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
