Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Office - Franklin, WI 53132Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeJob Shift: DayJob Category: SalesPosition Summary:  The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for assisting the VP of Domestic Sales in identifying key sales opportunities within a customer base to include all channels. This role will focus on leading the grocery, dollar and drug wholesaler channels but will assist where needed. Responsibilities include; continued growth of the grocery and dollar channels with focus on profitable share growth.  Additionally, building a plan to identify new customer opportunities and assist the VP of Domestic Sales in the development, implementation and monitoring of sales strategies for all accounts where needed. The individual will possess the drive and passion to access, develop, and implement all aspects of the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Reports to:  Vice President of Sales             Functional Responsibilities: Building the strategy to manage and identify business opportunities and customer partnerships across the grocery, dollar and drug wholesale channels. This will include growing our overall business in these channels, bolstering and improving our relationship with our customers and sales representatives to increase sales and identify new opportunities. Managing all Sales “Functions” of the Grocery, Dollar and drug wholesale channels to include: Annual Planning Quarterly and Monthly Sales Forecasting Managing Sales Results Trade Spend Management Account Set-up Manage and lead the growing market within Carma Labs.  Work with cross functional partners to develop, sku’s, promotional strategies and overall strategic direction. Coordinate with the category manager and business partners for information and analyzing trends, reviewing historical sales results with syndicated data and information from business partners. Work with VP of Domestic Sales to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals for broker network; projects expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Assist the VP of Domestic Sales where needed to build and implement strategic growth initiatives. Identify consumer gaps for innovations through data, consumer insights, internally derived insights, and qual/quant consumer market research. Proactively look for internal process improvements to work more effectively with key cross-functional partners (Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain). Assist VP of Domestic Sales with maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Assist VP of Domestic Sales with developing short term and long range strategies, plans, and budgets based on corporate sales goals and growth objectives.    QualificationsRequired Experience, Desired Skills & Qualifications: 5 years of Sales experience (preferably in a CPG environment).  Experience managing a national customer and/or wholesaler/distributor Career skills with influential selling and customer management Capability in working with forecast management, reporting and creating customer sales presentations Understanding of Financial spreadsheets and business plans Experience working within a small, fast paced, tight knit, entrepreneurial environment. Strong individual contributor capable of operating without large support staffs.
