Quality Inspector III is a highly skilled quality role responsible for verifying product conformity, supporting operational control, andĀ maintainingĀ compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) within a manufacturing environment.Ā 

This position performs advanced inspections, ensuresĀ accurateĀ and complete quality records, supports nonconformance management and corrective actions, and serves as a technical resource and mentor to inspection personnel. The role contributes directly to audit readiness, process effectiveness, and continual improvement.Ā 

This position reports toĀ QualityĀ Assurance Manager.Ā ThisĀ role isĀ onsiteĀ and is based inĀ Franklin, NH.Ā 

Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Perform advanced inspection and testing of raw materials,Ā in‑processĀ products, and finished goods to verify conformity to specifications, drawings, control plans, and standard work.Ā 

  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements to ensureĀ accurateĀ acceptance and rejection decisions.Ā 

  • Ensure inspection activities are performedĀ in accordance withĀ approved procedures and documented instructions.Ā 

  • Support production flow whileĀ maintainingĀ integrity of quality acceptance criteria.Ā 

  • Identify, document, andĀ containĀ nonconforming materialĀ in accordance withĀ established procedures.Ā 

  • Initiate and document nonconformance records accurately and ensure proper disposition.Ā 

  • Support immediate containment actions and communicate quality risks toĀ appropriate stakeholders.Ā 

  • Record inspection results accurately, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and completeness.Ā 

  • UtilizeĀ appropriate inspectionĀ and measuring equipment and verify measurement accuracy asĀ required.Ā 

  • Support analysis of inspection data toĀ identifyĀ trends, recurring issues, and improvementĀ opportunity.Ā 

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality issues.Ā 

  • Provide technical input based on inspection findings and process observations.Ā 

  • Verify effectiveness of corrective actions throughĀ follow‑upĀ inspection and validation activities as assigned.Ā 

  • Ensure inspection records and related quality documentation are completed,Ā maintained, andĀ retainedĀ according to company and ISO requirements.Ā 

  • Support internal and external audits by providing inspection records, objective evidence, and clear explanations of inspection practices.Ā 

  • AlwaysĀ maintainĀ inspection documentation in anĀ audit‑readyĀ state.Ā 

  • Perform inspection activities in a manner that supports environmental policies, procedures, and site controls.Ā 

  • Follow established environmental requirements related to material handling, waste identification, and spill prevention.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ and communicate potential environmental risksĀ observedĀ during inspection or production activities.Ā 

  • ProvideĀ technical guidance and mentoring to Quality Inspector I and II personnel.Ā 

  • AssistĀ with training and onboarding by reinforcing inspection methods, quality standards, and documented procedures.Ā 

  • Promote consistent application of inspection criteria and standard work across shifts.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ opportunities to improve inspection methods, controls, or documentation processes.Ā 

  • Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and improvement teams.Ā 

  • Reinforce a culture of quality, accountability, and environmental responsibility on the shop floor.Ā 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support quality system effectiveness and operational objectives.Ā

RequiredĀ QualificationsĀ 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferredĀ 

  • 6+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilityĀ 

  • Advanced capability interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&TĀ 

  • ProficiencyĀ with precision measuring and inspection equipmentĀ 

  • Strong understanding of nonconformance control, inspection records, and audit expectationsĀ 

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or support other inspectorsĀ 

  • Strong attention to detail,Ā decision‑making, and documentation disciplineĀ 

  • Ability to reinforce compliance with quality and environmental requirementsĀ 

Ā 

Preferred QualificationsĀ 

  • Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 certified manufacturing environmentĀ 

  • Experience supporting internal and external auditsĀ 

  • Familiarity with SPC, data analysis, andĀ problem‑solvingĀ methodologiesĀ

Working ConditionsĀ 

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will performĀ the majority ofĀ your duties in an office environment.Ā You may, at times,Ā be requiredĀ to be present on the manufacturing floor and will beĀ requiredĀ to wear theĀ appropriate personalĀ protective equipment. You willĀ be requiredĀ to work in the office at theĀ Franklin, NHĀ location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.Ā
