Job Summary:

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our rapidly growing, acquisition‑driven organization. This role plays a key part in month‑end close, financial reporting, and supporting newly onboarded practices. You will serve as a resource for the accounting team and collaborate with other departments to ensure a clear understanding of the financial results. This role will be hybrid with a minimum of two days per week onsite in our Franklin, TN office.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepares journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, reviews P&L results, and supports timely financial reporting
Assists the Manager with reviewing staff work and completing ad hoc requests, including analyses for the finance or operations teams
Analyzes business performance against prior-period actuals and budget
Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Supports process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting workflows and business operations

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting experience

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with General Ledger (GL) /Accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct preferred)
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use technology to collect and manipulate data, determine significant findings, and present information clearly
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 per year.
