Compensation: $58,240 - $72,800 annually ($28-$35 per hour)

Senior Window and Door Technician Position Summary

Huskey Building Supply is seeking a Senior Window & Door Specialist with deep, hands-on expertise in premium window and door systems. This is a field-based technical role focused on advanced troubleshooting and precision installation of high-end products. This position is not a management role—this individual is a subject matter expert relied on to diagnose and resolve complex issues in the field.


Senior Window and Door Technician Key Responsibilities


Advanced Troubleshooting

Serve as the primary technical resource for diagnosing complex window and door issues, including out-of-square, out-of-level, and operational failures. Identify root cause (installation, product, or structure) and implement correct solutions without trial-and-error.


Precision Installation

Install high-end window and door systems to manufacturer specifications. Ensure all units are level, plumb, square, and true. Work with a helper when required to safely handle and install large or complex systems.


Product Expertise

Perform advanced adjustments including jamb, sash, and hardware tuning. Demonstrate deep understanding of multi-point locking systems, including proper alignment and troubleshooting.


Field Communication & Quality

Communicate clearly with builders and superintendents. Represent Huskey with professionalism and ensure consistent high-end installation quality.


Senior Window and Door Technician Qualifications


Required

  • 5+ years experience installing and servicing high-end window and door systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with multi-point locking systems.
  • Ability to read installation instructions and shop drawings.
  • Must be able to move large units (100lbs.+) with assistance.
  • Must pass company-required drug screen

Preferred

  • Direct hands-on installation and service experience with Marvin Windows, Origin Doors, and Western Window Systems.
  • Experience working on custom homes or luxury residential projects.  Familiarity with large-panel, aluminum, and specialty systems.
