Technician, Lab

Position Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will assist across various areas in the lab. The Lab Tech will gain exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions in a laboratory environment. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assist in filling and packaging of products, which may include automated instruments. 
• Proper and detailed labeling of products. 
• Work with Scientists and Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintenance. 
• Assist in washing, cleaning, and maintenance of reusable materials and/or instruments. 
• Perform periodic inventory on packaging materials and/or replacement parts. 
• Learn, perform proper handling of, and waste collection of Acids and Bases and other biohazards. 
• Contributes towards accurate production records, maintenance logs, inspections, temperature records, water systems, 
• Supports and complies with onsite safety program and notifies supervisor of any safety hazards.
• Supports the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Antylia Quality Management System.
• Other duties as assigned, including cross functionally across our small site.  

Education: 

• Pursuing a Life Science degree or equivalent industry experience and/or combo of education.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
• Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and move supplies that may weigh up to 50lbs. 
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate to all levels of the organization clearly and concisely.
• Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $20-$23/hr, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
