Duties:

Design, support, and automate virtualization environment. Provide operational support for the existing and future virtualization and computing and VDI architectures, including designing solutions to support existing and future services and enhance security posture. Develop network baselines and evaluate and remediate vulnerabilities and security findings. Meet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the network environment. Architect, configure, and support Cisco UCS systems and VMWare environment including SDDC Manager, vROPS, or NSX. Engineer and implement hybrid and public cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS native services or VMware Cloud on AWS. Identify the sources of manual work and automate using PowerShell/PowerCLI. Design, deploy, maintain, and manage physical server hardware such as Dell, Cisco UCS, or HP, and hyperconverged infrastructure including VMware vSAN. Address network performance problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Evaluate and recommend application integration and testing tools. Apply comprehensive advanced technical knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Troubleshoot production problems, including performance and runtime issues within the virtualization environment. Provide Disaster Recovery testing support. Provide on-call support according to assigned schedule. Document changes, policies and procedures and drawings. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted.   • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
