Basic Position Duties                         

 Assemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints.

  • Perform overhauls (Preventative Maintenance); Parts fitting and shape mold components in accordance to training guidelines and understand parts mating, position and function.
  • Perform quality assurance check on all fabricated tooling.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Prepare required documentation (i.e. tooling work orders, quality inspection reports, etc.)
  • Insure proper verbal/written communication with other departments in regard to mold activities.
  • Perform all job duties per OSHA guidelines, safety rules and housekeeping requirements and insure other maintenance associates follow the proper guidelines, rules and requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements                       

Two Year Machine Tool Technology degree, or 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance. Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components and be able to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying; must possess excellent oral & written communication skills. Must be willing to learn and be able to work at a fast pace.
