About the Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory and shipments. This position is responsible for managing warehouse staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all processes from receiving, storage, and order fulfillment are executed seamlessly to meet company goals and customer expectations. They act as a key liaison between warehouse personnel and management, driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving operational challenges. Ultimately, the role contributes to optimizing warehouse productivity while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by warehouse duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and compliance standards.
  • Certification in forklift operation and warehouse safety.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees to promote professional development and high performance.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage scheduling and workflow to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
