The Position:

We're looking for a full-time CMA with previous experience administering vaccines to work on the floor assisting our doctors and nurse practitioners as they provide excellent care to our patients who range in age from newborn-college age. The position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with two evening shifts a month and one Saturday (8am-12pm ) shift every 4 weeks.


Starting pay at $20 an hour with a $1000 hiring bonus paid at 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
  • Formal medical training and Medical Assistant certification required
  • 1 year experience in pediatrics preferred
  • CPR certification required

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Experience administering injections REQUIRED
  • Competency in operating medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care.
  • Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information.
