Bopat Electric is seeking experienced Commercial Service Electricians who enjoy troubleshooting, solving complex electrical problems, and working independently. If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values skilled electricians, we'd like to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Install, replace, and upgrade panels, breakers, transformers, switchgear, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and electrical inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing professional, high-quality service.
- Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Follow all National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and company safety standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
- Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems.
- Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
