Bopat Electric is seeking experienced Commercial Service Electricians who enjoy troubleshooting, solving complex electrical problems, and working independently. If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values skilled electricians, we'd like to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install, replace, and upgrade panels, breakers, transformers, switchgear, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and electrical inspections.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing professional, high-quality service.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Follow all National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and company safety standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
  • Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems.
  • Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
