Join our accounting team as an Accounts Manager and take an important role in supporting the financial operations of the community associations we serve. You'll manage homeowner accounts and accounts receivable activity, respond to billing and account questions, and work closely with our Accountants to help keep association financial records accurate and up to date. Experience in community association accounting isn't required—we provide hands-on training to help you learn our systems, processes, and industry.

Training and Support

What You'll Do

  • Manage accounts receivable activity for a portfolio of assigned community associations
  • Oversee monthly ACH processing, lockbox and payment processing
  • Review assessments and prepare statements, payment reminders, and late notices
  • Track unpaid accounts and prepare them for collection as needed
  • Respond to homeowner account and billing questions by phone and through our software
  • Maintain accurate homeowner accounts, including ownership, address, contact, and status updates
  • Process settlements, foreclosures, returned payments, and financial updates, and welcome new homeowners and associations
  • Support our Accountants with the financial management of assigned associations

What You’ll Gain

Who You Are

  • Strong verbal and written communication for working with homeowners and fellow associates
  • Customer-focused, professional, and comfortable assisting people with account and billing questions
  • Organized and detail-oriented when updating accounts and processing correspondence
  • Comfortable researching account details and using basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage your time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment and able to stay calm under occasional stressful situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar account-management software

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • $19 to $20 per hour starting pay
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, in-office
