Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Care in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
