Your Impact: What You’ll Do
As a Vocational Counselor, you will guide individuals overcoming diverse challenges through their entire career journey. On a daily basis, you will:
- Build Individualized Strategies: Uncover your clients' unique strengths and craft customized employment plans that lead to meaningful, long-term careers.
- Support the Full Journey: Act as a trusted guide through every phase of employment—from interview preparation and resume building to hands-on job coaching and future career advancement.
- Remove Barriers: Advocate fiercely for reasonable accommodations and assistive technologies to ensure a level playing field for every client.
- Connect the Community: Forge strong, lasting partnerships with local Fredericksburg employers to cultivate welcoming, inclusive workplace environments.
- Advocate for Resources: Stay ahead of local economic and industry trends to connect your clients with the vital resources they need to thrive.
