Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

 

What You’ll Experience:

  • Hands-on work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and running security assessments of a mission critical system.
  • Building RMF documentation, including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis.
  • Conducting vulnerability scans and compliance checks in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Collaborating with teams, customers, and stakeholders to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong expertise in software engineering and cybersecurity frameworks like NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.
  • Experience with STIGs, security policies, and vulnerability assessments for different systems and devices.
  • Hands-on technical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Application Security and Development (ASD) STIG, static code analysis
  • Proficiency in developing RMF documentation and performing compliance scans.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred), plus an active Security+ or CISSP certification.
