Belt Loader
Position Purpose:
Position is responsible for placing aluminum slugs on furnace belt. .
Essential Functions:
- Load aluminum slugs into multiple furnaces per work instructions;
- Load aluminum slugs onto belts in pattern provided in work instructions;
- Place parts into tub after solution & forge process is complete;
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition;
- Identify issues with the equipment or parts and notify supervisor;
- Follow verbal/written instructions given by Supervisor;
- Report problems to Supervisor;
- Maintain daily timekeeping on the computer system;
Actively participate in efforts to establish and promote a safe and healthy work environment. Follow policies, programs, and procedures for the reduction and elimination of work-related accidents and provide quality feedback to promote safer work behaviors and condition
Education and Training:
- High School Diploma or GED
- No experience needed

- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions;
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to schedules;
- Ability to work safely and keep area clean;
- Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization;
- Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely and achieve intended objectives;
- Ability to work assigned shift and remain awake and alert during assigned shift is required;
- Reporting to work for assigned shift, maintaining a physical presence and performing assigned work for the duration of assigned shift is required;
- Ability to work in a variety of environments which may include exposure to extreme heat, humidity, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, loud noise, and all weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, sit, climb or balance and stoop. Frequent twisting, turning, reaching, bending, pulling and pushing are also required. The employee must be able to handle up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Pay & Benefits
Rate: In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the hourly payrate for this position is $19.00-$21.00. This payrate is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
