  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, treasury, and other core finance functions.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities, and address potential risks.
  • Translate financial results and complex financial information into clear, practical business recommendations.
  • Support strategic decisions related to growth, investments, capital allocation, acquisitions, partnerships, and other major business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, tax advisors, and other external financial partners.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
  • Assess and manage financial and business risks while maintaining appropriate risk-management practices.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Help build scalable financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities as the organization grows.
  • Participate actively in executive leadership discussions and contribute to the organization’s broader strategy and direction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or other advanced credential is preferred.
  • Significant progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership, including experience at the executive or senior leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, accounting principles, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Experience developing and executing financial strategies in a growing or complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational information and turn it into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership and, preferably, a Board of Directors.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

Candidates Strengths:

  • Strengthen the organization’s financial position and long-term sustainability.
  • Provide leadership with clear and actionable financial insight.
  • Improve forecasting, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
