Job Summary
The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes proactive troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, performing preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and correcting safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment. The technician will work directly with customers and may support multiple systems, locations, and customers.

Essential Responsibilities
- Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Proactively troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, diesel, and other technical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to support equipment reliability.
- Manage parts inventory and ensure required materials are available to support field service activities.
- Identify and correct safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition, service needs, and recommended solutions.
- Maintain company property, tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing service activities and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues and meet service commitments.
- Demonstrate accountability, innovation, and empowerment while supporting a high-impact culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2–5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience.
- Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and/or fusion experience depending on business unit.
- Previous field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience preferred.
- Industry-specific licenses or certifications may be preferred.
- Ability to obtain required customer site clearances, including TWIC, DISA, or other site-specific requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.

Travel and Driving Requirements
- Overnight travel and extended time away from home may be required.
- This position requires operating a company vehicle. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets company standards.
- Candidates must successfully complete all required driver, DOT, medical, and background screening requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain company driving privileges
Compensation & Benefits
