About the Role:
Stillwater Industries LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping Clerk to join our team in East Freetown, MA. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in our daily operations, ensuring products move accurately and efficiently from our facility to customers. Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, and label outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
- Process shipping orders using shipping software and carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.)
- Verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices
- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain organized records of all outgoing shipments and tracking information
- Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper handling of all materials
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or logistics preferred
- Familiarity with shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order verification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office or inventory management systems
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED required
