We are looking for aManufacturing Team Lead to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.Ā  This role will report totheManufacturing Supervisorand based in Fremont, CA.Ā  This is a fully on-site, in office role.Ā 

Ā 

Role and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Responsible for maintaining on-the-floor manufacturing activities while ensuring that they are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with EHS policies and proceduresĀ 

  • Ensure that all quality requirements are met and that all team members are adhering to these requirements dailyĀ 

  • Oracle transactions and IOTs for material movement between plants and processesĀ 

  • Provide updates on unit findings with engineering and manufacturing teamsĀ 

  • Cycle counts and inventory managementĀ 

  • Create, document, and sustain standardized work practicesĀ 

  • Train and mentor technical team members using a hands-on approach to ensure the team members are able to learn the techniques required to troubleshootĀ 

  • Report and attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.Ā 

  • Responsible for running the assembly team from a process standpoint and communicating issues with the supervisor/manager as required.Ā 

  • Create, document, and sustain standardized work practicesĀ 

  • Identify non-value added waste within the manufacturing process and recommend cost effective solutions to eliminate wasteĀ 

  • Other duties as assigned.Ā 

Skills and Experience:Ā Ā Ā 

  • High school diploma required, AA degree preferredĀ 

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate cross-functionallyĀ 

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and lead teamsĀ 

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office SuiteĀ 

  • Highly motivated self-starter and team playerĀ 

  • Must demonstrate safe work practices and attention to detailĀ 

  • Familiar with lean manufacturing terminology principlesĀ 

  • Experience creating standardized workĀ 

  • Experience completing station auditsĀ 

  • Experience completing process technician responsibilities preferredĀ 

  • Must be flexible to work fluctuating schedules if neededĀ 

Physical Requirements:Ā 

  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs.Ā 

  • Must have manual dexterity.Ā 

  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Ā
