We are looking for a OMM Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Manager and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Job Description: Production Support (OMM Technician)Ā

The Operations Materials Management technician (OMM)Ā is responsible forĀ Oracle transactions, preparing kits for assembly, operations materials management, materials inventory, andĀ manageĀ the dailyĀ operation planning and shipping.Ā 

Ā 

Roles & ResponsibilitiesĀ 

Ā 

  • VerifyingĀ incoming materials and shipments and update Oracle database.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ stacks for binning & kitting and all rework columns.Ā 

  • Reconcile inventory discrepancy in physical & Oracle database/systemĀ 

  • Complete daily transaction logs and allĀ requiredĀ pass down reportsĀ 

  • Perform Oracle transactions and WO (work order).Ā 

  • Prioritize work by interacting with area leader (Lead/ Supervisors/Ā Manager).Ā 

  • AssistĀ in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processesĀ 

  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees in OMM teamĀ 

  • Responsible for quality control with zero discrepancy or error on the kits or columnsĀ 

  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) Receive,Ā openĀ and inspect all incoming packaged materialsĀ 

  • Closely supervised butĀ is able toĀ make decisions on assignments based on current workloadsĀ 

  • Follows guidelinesĀ establishedĀ for department operations and knows when to elevate problems to supervisorĀ 

  • Monitor andĀ SupportĀ all OP5 operation planning activities in DEĀ 

  • Process Material Requests, pull parts and adjust system inventoriesĀ 

  • Perform other duties asĀ requiredĀ

  Education & Experience:Ā 

  

  • Ability to work independently and work well underĀ deadlineĀ and pressure.Ā 

  • High School degreeĀ required,Ā Associate'sĀ degree orĀ higherĀ preferredĀ 

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work areaĀ 

  • Ability toĀ lift upĀ to 35 pounds required.Ā 

  • Knowledge of Shipping/ReceivingĀ process andĀ procedures and environment.Ā 

  • Good communication, Team-Building and good interacting skill with operation team.Ā 

  • Demonstrates good skills in the use of computerized spreadsheets,Ā database, emailĀ and word processing programs. Strong in excel and Microsoft Office Suite.Ā 

  • Customs/Import/Export regulations and documentationĀ 

  • Two or moreĀ years’ experienceĀ inĀ PlanningĀ and production environment.Ā 

  • Experience with Oracle databaseĀ utilizingĀ inventory, receiving & cycle count modules is a plusĀ
