We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee construction projects from planning through successful completion.

Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with approved construction documents and safety requirements. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3–4 years of construction management or project management experience and be comfortable working with subcontractors, clients, inspectors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and provide weekly three-week look-ahead schedules for OAC meetings.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and clients to review work in progress and upcoming activities.
  • Identify and submit potential change orders and obtain subcontractor quotes.
  • Review project progress for monthly client billing and Pay Applications.
  • Review subcontractor invoices to ensure billing aligns with completed work.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors regarding materials, procurement, and anticipated project needs.
  • Maintain and update as-built drawings, redlines, and project documentation.
  • Prepare project closeout documentation and Closeout Binders.
  • Conduct site audits to help ensure safe working conditions and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Work with the Inspector of Record (IOR) to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved HCAI drawings and construction documents.
  • Distribute RFI responses and coordinate the resolution of project issues and outstanding items.
  • Track and close out punch-list items.
  • Attend client meetings, OAC meetings, walkthroughs, and inspections as requested.
  • Provide updates on project schedule and financial status and communicate any operational impacts to the client.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–4+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel to project sites throughout the Bay Area.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare or institutional construction.
  • Experience working with HCAI requirements and an Inspector of Record (IOR).
  • Experience with OAC meetings, RFIs, punch lists, as-built drawings, and project closeout.
  • Experience with construction scheduling or project management software.
